Born to two Caribbean parents who immigrated to America in search of better, Destiny Samuel was humbly raised in Brooklyn, NY. She is an actor, dancer, and model based in New York City. She will graduate from Western Connecticut State University this May with a BA in Theatre Performance.
At Western Connecticut State University, Destiny gained experience under industry professionals such as Mariah Sage, Matt Newton, John Hickok, Donna Bradby, Chris Bolan, Jen Turey, and MaryAnn Lamb. However, She has previously trained under artists such as Ellen Weinstein, Jerry Mitchell, and Jacques d'Amboise during her time at the National Dance Institute.
Destiny has starred in productions like As You Like It, [Title of Show], The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Big Love, Ernest and the Pale Moon, and Fairview. Destiny is honored and humbled to have been nominated at KCACTF 4 times for her performances in these productions.
Outside of performing, Destiny has held many leadership and administrative positions during her college career. She was elected as the Director of Finance of the Student Government Association, where she manages over half a million dollars for the university, and also has worked as a building manager for the Campus and Student Centers. When she's not girl bossing the house down, she participates in fashion shows as a plus-size model and navigates through life as if it's an episode of The Office.
